St. James Roman Catholic Church

St. James Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank, New Jersey, has stood since the late 19th century, serving as a cornerstone of the community and a lasting example of Romanesque Revival architecture. Its rhythmic arches, ornate plasterwork, and richly colored stained-glass windows define a sanctuary filled with warmth and history. A recent lighting renovation was undertaken to enhance these features while preserving the church’s spiritual atmosphere and architectural integrity. The installation of twenty Reizen luminaires introduces deep asymmetric illumination that draws out the height and sculptural depth of the vaulted ceiling. With an exceptionally compact form, the smallest in its class, Reizen integrates seamlessly into the historic structure, evenly brightening the upper walls and accentuating the fine detailing that has made this space both timeless and uplifting.
